As the ocean sprays on my face

I remember

the only thing you liked about the beach was the ocean.

 

You always jumped in

and lured us into the water.

But now when I think about it makes me sad

I miss the times I had with you.

 

But I remember

you always wanted me to be happy.

So I grow strong

and remember what you said.

When I think of you, I smile and wish you were here to see me grow.

My bat mitzvah that you wanted me to experience. The love that you spread and everything you wanted me t0 experience. You wanted me to experience the world and now you can experience Paradise forever. Even though  you wanted the world for me I always wanted the world for you. Now you have it all and I’m wishing that someday I will be exactly where you are. In heaven together we will roam.
