Today’s main project consisted of constructing and painting our very own man-made boat.  I painted the bottom of the boat which represented the Italian flag.  I had help from Jeremy.  Volunteer Evan kept obsessing over the paint that ruined his white shirt.  My favorite part of painting the boat was using a technique called Jackson Pollock.  This is created by splattering paint off a brush.

During the painting, Evan and I got into a water fight.  We chased each other around with spray bottles.  The best part was, we didn’t even get in trouble for doing it!

The boat is coming along as planned and I can’t wait to see the final result at the Art Exhibition August 9!
